Last month Sedgehill Academy students Shilon and Indiana were invited to Middle Temple Inn by Janice Brennan. The invitation was extended after they earned scholarships from Garden Court Chambers, recognizing their exceptional talent.

During the visit, Shilon and Indiana explored Middle Temple Inn, learning about its storied history and the various events that take place there. This provided a unique glimpse into the legal profession's traditions and workings.

The visit included a delightful meal with Miss Brennan, where they discussed the process of becoming a barrister and the experiences of the legal profession. Miss Brennan shared her valuable insights, giving Shilon and Indiana a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed as a barrister.

The students also had the opportunity to interact with other barristers, solicitors, and Supreme Court judges. These conversations allowed them to ask questions and learn about different career paths in law, further enriching their experience.

Shilon and Indiana both expressed gratitude for Miss Brennan's kind invitation and the insights gained from the visit. They returned to Sedgehill Academy with a greater appreciation for the legal profession and a clearer vision of their future careers.
