Welcome to Sedgehill Academy
On behalf of all the staff and students at Sedgehill, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of our new year 7 students joining us in September 2026, and to all new parents and carers too. Our academy has been educating children from the local community for over 50 years and we are really looking forward to meeting you all.
The transition from primary to secondary school can be a daunting prospect for young people, so our aim to make it as smooth and stress-free as possible. We have lots of exciting activities planned for the spring and summer to help our new students get to know their new school and each other.

Offers of secondary school places sent out by Lewisham Council. Parents, carers and students who have been offered a place here will receive a welcome email from us shortly afterwards.
Thursday 23rd April, 6-6.30pm - Online Welcome Meeting with Q&A
Please join Clare Cassidy for this online meeting where we will share some key information about the transition process and introduce our Senior Leadership Team. There will also be the opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have via the online chat.
