As part of our end-of-year Sedgehill English celebrations, Year 10 students had the privilege of watching a captivating performance of The Taming of the Shrew delivered by the talented Oxford University Drama Society.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for our students to experience live theatre and engage with classic literature excitingly and dynamically.
In addition to the performance, 20 of our English students participated in an exclusive acting workshop conducted by the drama society. This small group workshop allowed our students to delve deeper into the world of drama, learning new techniques and gaining valuable insights from experienced actors.
This enriching experience not only enhanced their understanding of Shakespeare's work but also inspired many to explore their own creative potential.
