Our Year 10 students at Sedgehill Academy recently embarked on a day of team building and orienteering at Beckenham Place Park, stepping away from the traditional classroom setting to develop their teamwork and navigational skills amidst nature's beauty.
The day was filled with challenges designed to foster collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities. A standout activity was the Tarp Challenge, which saw students creatively working together to overcome obstacles, demonstrating their adaptability and perseverance.
These activities are crucial for building resilience and a sense of camaraderie among students, qualities that are invaluable both in and out of the classroom. It was a day of laughter, learning, and lots of memorable moments.
We're proud of our Year 10 students for embracing this experience with such enthusiasm and spirit. Here's to more opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and excel beyond the classroom!
