Exam timetable for Y11 announced

As we draw to a close this term, it is worth celebrating all the wonderful efforts our students put in - day in, day out. The nights are now drawing in, and four those looking ahead to exams next year, it is all starting to feel quite "real."

Well, just around the corner are our first set of mock exams for the year.

As exam season approaches, effective preparation is crucial for success. Start by creating a study schedule that allocates time for each subject, ensuring a balanced approach. Break study sessions into manageable chunks to enhance focus and retention.

Utilise a variety of resources, such as textbooks, online materials, and past papers, to reinforce understanding. Practice mindfulness techniques to manage stress and maintain a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and nutritious meals. Encourage collaboration with peers for study groups, fostering a supportive learning environment. Lastly, prioritize sleep, as adequate rest is essential for cognitive function and overall well-being during this demanding time.

Our current Year 11 and Year 13 mock exams are approaching. Please use the mock exam schedule to plan your revision time for each subject and speak to your teachers about the best resources for revision.

Good luck to all students sitting their first set of mock exams this academic year!
