Creative Arts at Sedgehill Academy

At Sedgehill, our performing arts provision is unbeatable.  We have 3 fully equipped drama studios, a mirrored dance studio with sprung floor as well as our recording studios.

At Sedgehill Drama students have full access to all elements of stage design so that they can hone their skills not only in a variety of performance styles and techniques, but also in the design of stage lighting and sound, costume and set design.  Our students have gone on to become success performers in film and theatre, both on and off stage. We offer both Drama and Photography A Level in our Sixth Form, along with Art and Music at GCSE and BTEC Level 3, so students can make full use of our professional facilities.

Our results in Drama are excellent and we have close links with professional theatres such as the Old Vic, Donmar Warehouse and The Albany as well as with specialist theatre FE providers, such as Rose Bruford.
