Sixth Form Uniform

Sedgehill Academy Sixth Form Uniform Policy

Our mission for every student who studies at Sedgehill Sixth Form is to leave as a strong, independent learner who is confident and well prepared to face the demands of the competitive world ahead of them.

We want every student to aspire to achieve beyond expectations and leave with the necessary skills to succeed in the next stage of their career, be that university, an apprenticeship or employment.  Creating an environment where this can be achieved is our primary goal.

As such the dress code has changed to reflect the ethos that Sedgehill Sixth Form is a place of work, where students take a responsible and mature attitude toward achieving their goals. Our Sixth Formers are also role models to the lower school.  As such our standards of dress are an important part of the demonstrating this.

Please see detailed below the Sedgehill Sixth Form Uniform Policy starting September 2019.  The 6th form dress code is non-negotiable and students that fail to follow the policy will be sent home.  Student ID must be worn at ALL TIMES.  Furthermore, students that continuously break the dress code policy will find their place in 6th form under review.
